Meet Your Relationship Guide - Daniel Epstein

Daniel Epstein - Relationship Guide & Relationship Coach - with dark hair, light beard, wearing a dark blue shirt and a multicolored cap, standing against a plain wall.

I’m not here to fix you. And I’m not here to impress you with credentials.
What I offer is something quieter—and, I hope, more useful.

I work with people who want to stop performing in love and start showing up with honesty. People who are ready to look at the shutdowns, the spirals, the silence—and get curious, instead of scared.

As your guide, I help you untangle what’s yours, what’s your partner’s, and what lives in the space between.
Together, we slow down the autopilot, get underneath the stories, and start to rebuild from a place that’s real.

I draw from lived experience, 12-Step recovery, and relational therapy—but mostly, I draw from being fully here with you. Present. Clear. Caring.
You deserve that.

The Lasting Relationship You Want Is Possible

Two people with backpacks sitting on a rock ledge, overlooking a lush green landscape with a prominent rock formation and mountains in the distance under a partly cloudy sky.

Relationships are hard—not because you're doing it wrong, but because at their best, they expose you. That’s the point. And it can be terrifying.

If you’ve been spinning, shutting down, or performing just to keep it together—you’re not broken. You’re probably just operating from old wiring.

As your relationship guide, I’m here to help you slow down, get honest, and finally tell the truth—first to yourself, then to your partner.

Because what you want—closeness, safety, desire, respect—isn’t out of reach. But you can’t overthink or over-give your way into real love.

This work begins when you stop pretending it’s fine.
If you’re ready to do the hard, human, honest work—I’ll walk with you.

This Work Isn’t for Everyone—
But It Might Be for YOU

Some people who come to me are..

  • in a relationship they’re unsure about

  • some are attracting emotionally unavailable partners

  • others might be losing themself trying to be the "perfect" partner

  • or wondering if what they want is even possible

Begin Your Journey to Lasting Love Through Honest Inner Work

I currently work with a small number of clients to help them get very honest about who they are, and heal relational patterns in order have lasting and deep loving connection. If you're interested in working with me, start by taking the gut check and filling out the application at the end.

Work With Me

Most people say they want a healthy, loving relationship—but not everyone is ready to do the hard, sometimes frightening work of becoming honest with themselves enough to make it real. I’m not here to waste your time, or mine. My application process helps me see if you're ready for this kind of work—and if I’m the right relationship guide to walk alongside you.

Unlearning What’s Not Ours to Carry

For many of us, life is a continuous process of deprogramming ourselves from harmful and untrue beliefs that were imprinted on us. As we allow ourselves to want what we want, and get honest, we are finally able to find self-compassion, deep love, and freedom.

What My Work Has Made Possible ✨

  • Dan is an incredibly thoughtful and deeply empathetic coach. I approached him because I felt like there was a block in my life that wasn't being filled by other professionals that I was working with (therapists, somatics, etc) related to my ability to goal set and outline a vision for myself. Over the past year of working together, Dan has become a trusted sounding board to help me work through some of the stickiest areas of my life. And I really appreciate his 'bias toward action' approach - the homework assignments we come up with together every session have become a great accountability tool to keep me moving forward. And honestly through our work together, I've had some of the most profound psychological insights of my adult life.  The combination of his relational style of viewing the world and all of the different methods and ideas he pulls from in his work make him an incredibly unique and effective coach. Highly recommend.

  • Dan has such an ease about him. Subjects that are sticky seem safe to explore because he navigates them so effortlessly. My conversations with him always leave me with a realization or at the very least a thoughtful and new perspective to consider. He is open and kind, eager to dive deeper, and genuinely invested in helping others. Your time with him will be time well spent!
